Moore, Heffernan, Moeller, Johnson & Meis, L.L.P is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the open skate at the Battle of the Badges Hockey Event.  In honor of its continued tradition of  providing civic and pro bono services to the community, the firm has made arrangements so that the open skate and skate rental are free for all families attending this event.  Partner Dan Moore said that “We were delighted that the Battle of the Badges Hockey Event is benefiting Support Siouxland Soldiers.  Support Siouxland Soldiers does so much for the veterans in our area and we are grateful to be able to thank both groups.”  The Battle of the Badges is on May 13, 2017 at the IBP Ice Center in Sioux City.  It begins at 1 pm with a tailgate, jumpy house, dunk tank and fire truck tours.  At 2 pm is the open skate sponsored by Moore, Heffernan, Moeller, Johnson, & Meis, LLP.  At 3 pm is the Battle of the Badges hockey game pitting police and military against the Fire and EMS.  All events are free and additional information can be found here. 

*Update: 5/15/17 – Although it was a close battle between Policy/Military and Fire/EMS, congratulations go to Fire and EMS for winning the Battle of the Badges!  There was great attendance for the Barbecue, Open Skate and game.  We appreciate the community's support of the event!
