Attorneys Recognized on the 2017-2018 Pro Bono Honor Roll

Many people are not equipped to represent themselves in our increasingly complex society, making legal representation a necessity.  To address this need, the Iowa Judicial Branch encourages all Iowa attorneys to devote at lease 50 hours of pro bono legal services each year.  Pro bono legal services are not only vital for the people represented, but are also vital to society as a whole as the service fulfills the promise of equal access to justice.

Four of the Firm's attorneys were noted by the Iowa State Bar Association The Iowa Lawyer magazine for pro bono work done for various legal aid organizations around the state that coordinate pro bono work.  Those attorneys include:

Attorneys listed volunteered legal services from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.  National Pro Bono Celebration Week runs from October 21-27, 2018.
